Between Reasonableness and Immersion

In an AI role-playing service, each line of dialogue is not just a simple sentence, but a piece of a scenario.
Therefore, we believe that each line of chat with the Newcae character is both ‘service usage’ and the flow of a story created together by the user and the AI.

Therefore, Newcae has adopted a system where a certain number of points are deducted each time you chat.
This structure is unavoidable due to the nature of character AI, but
I believe that pricing policy must be reasonable.

“Was this line of dialogue truly immersive?”

This is what I believe to be the core of the service.
It's not simply about “Did I receive a response?”, but
"Did the character's dialogue truly fit the scene I wanted??” We need to focus on this.

In fact, to generate highly immersive character dialogue, we need a better AI model.
But that model isn't always necessary.
In some situations, an overly high-performance model can be excessive.

So, Newcae actually tested over 20 AI models and
set a model that shows sufficient performance for basic role-playing as the benchmark.
This basic model is set at ‘1 point’, and
when using a higher-performance model,points are deducted in proportion to the performance.

This method is a structure adopted by many services, but
what's important iswhat philosophy governs this structure.

What Newcae Values Most

• If you don't like the character's dialogue, you should be able to regenerate it for free.
  If the dialogue was unsatisfactory, I believe that's an area where we cannot charge.
  Newcae provides this dialogue regeneration feature for free, regardless of the model used.
• Resume from a specific dialogue point
  Users may want to rewind the flow of the scenario and start again from a certain scene.
  Newcae considers this immersion control function important and implements it naturally.
• You should be able to directly edit the character's dialogue.
  Sometimes, AI may not accurately grasp your intentions.
  In such cases, we allow users to directly edit the dialogue to adjust the flow as desired.

These features go beyond simple AI chat, enablingan immersive experience where the user co-creates the scenario.
In other words, whether the user takes the lead or goes with the flow, it ultimately boils down tothe story has to be entertaining.
